Hey!
My name is Erin Peterson. I am an undergraduate student of Geology at the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. I'm random and can be pretty intense...or pretty aloof. I'm hoping to create this blog to help other undergrads like me figure out how to get into the real world. However, this is being written as I'm making the adjustment as a super senior in my (hopefully) last semester here. I'll probably keep it going through grad school and beyond...if I manage to keep up with it at all. I'd like to, but as I'm in my last semester, I'm keeping pretty busy!
Some of my accomplishments include studying abroad for a semester in Italy (see blog), working for the MN DNR for a season as a student paraprofessional worker, presenting on my semester abroad to the UWRF Geological Society, presenting a poster on my trip at the Spring Research, Scholarly, Creativity Activity Day on campus, and now being elected treasurer of the UWRF Geological Society.
